Asteroid passing near M74 - 15 Nov 200956 viewsAn image of mine taken between 6:15pm and 9:20pm on 15th Nov 2009 revealed an asteroid near M74. The movement of the asteroid during the 3 hours produced the trail. Judging by its brightness (16th mag approx) it must be a known one but as yet I haven't been able to identify it. DR
