A custom-built electronic timer for astrophotography.
With this fitted to a camera on a driven mount, you can leave it happily clicking away whilst you're busy with other observations (or inside in the warm!).

The unit will control a sequence of exposures on a Pentax or Canon DSLR camera, with one of five pre-settable durations: 300 sec (5 mins), 150 sec, 75 sec, 37 sec or 18 sec.
There is a 9 sec pause between exposures, to allow the image to be saved to the camera's memory-card.

It's powered by an internal 9V battery, and has a red LED indicator to show exposure active (continuous) or pause (flashing).
The connector is a stereo 2.5mm plug, which will plug straight into a Pentax or Canon 300D/350D/400D/450D camera: an "N3" adaptor will be needed to connect to a Canon 10D/20D/30D/40D/50D/5D/1D.

For sale for just £15.

SOLD - to the gentleman with the Canon 1000D (Joe).
But if anyone else is interested in this unit, I could make up another to order.
